Summary of the project

The company Pálffyovský kaštieľ, in addition to operating its own restaurants and wine shops known under the Selaví brand, also sells and distributes wine.

The deployment of a modern ordering portal has not only simplified this process, but has also brought an interesting increase in the number of corporate clients.

Challenges and requirements

Today, clients are accustomed to the instant information, convenience and automatic notifications offered by electronic ordering systems. If Pálffy Manor wanted to grow, it had to deploy technology that would meet these standards. But not only that. Internally, the launch of a web application for electronic ordering was a huge step forward for the company as well.

 

The aim of the project was to provide clients with a modern way of ordering, increase their number and streamline the distribution and supply process.

Results and benefits

The manual registration of orders has been replaced by fully automated online entry into the SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS production system, from which distribution is also subsequently carried out. The buyer, the sales manager and the person responsible for distribution receive an email about the registration of the order. The latter prepares the goods for dispatch and issues delivery notes and subsequent invoicing documents.

And what does this tool, which is a superstructure over IS SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS, bring to the client who is interested in wine delivery? First of all, it must be registered in the production system. After authentication, he obtains the necessary user rights and can place orders. He can immediately see the real stock level and the current selling prices of the individual goods. If the requested goods are not available, he can view information about the date of their stocking. When the order is confirmed, the client's requested quantity is reserved and he receives a corresponding notification in his email.
