Support in asset management and inventory management

The SOFTIP INVAPP mobile app for Android devices allows you to easily carry out asset inventories using barcodes and an Android mobile device. The introduction of the registration of selected groups of assets via barcode brings significant savings in the management of the organization's assets.
The use of a commonly available mobile phone in asset management eliminates the use of single-purpose terminals for inventory management. The main benefits of the application are:

Basic functions of the mobile app

The mobile application is designed to maintain compatibility with the existing inventory processing in ERP SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS while allowing the use of "specialized" barcode scanners with Android OS. The asset inventory uses a hierarchy of location, assignment or classification of assets. Assets are inventoried by scanning the barcode or manually entering the asset code.

Basic web server functions

The web server serves as a link between the mobile application and the SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS information system.

Import to mobile device

After exporting a batch from the IS SOFTIP PROFIT Inventory application, the batch file is automatically saved on the web server. In the mobile application, we can view a list of new batches located on the server.

Export from a mobile device

After completing the inventory, we export the registered items to the server to a file, which we then import into IS SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS. They are then automatically deleted from the server.

Website

On the server's website, we can view the inventory records located on the server.

User management

User registration is made available. In case of reaching the full number, we can delete inactive users.

Mobile application for ANDROID OS (min. version 6.0) that communicates with the server via defined REST API. The solution also includes a reference implementation of the REST API (server part of the application). This reference implementation enables the processing of inventories from IS SOFTIP PROFIT in file format. It can be replaced by another implementation, or it can be supplemented with a file format other than IS SOFTIP PROFIT, if such a format can be mapped to our defined REST API for the mobile application.
