The size of the market, as well as the constantly increasing pressure on the quality of services, forced KOSIT's management to replace several separate IT systems with a single one, which will ensure the management of all company processes. KOSIT chose SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS for this purpose.
We take the treatment and disposal of waste for granted, but images from the Italian city of Naples, for example, always remind us of the fatal consequences of failing to do so. To ensure that the reality does not even come close to such a terrible scenario, it is the task of KOSIT, which takes care of waste collection for hundreds of thousands of inhabitants of eastern Slovakia.
In response to the rapid developments in IT and the digital economy, KOSIT decided to deploy the modern information system SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS to manage all company processes.
A special information system was thus created on the SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS platform in order to speed up and streamline the company's activities and transactions. It was important to develop the interface of the new information system taking into account the fact that it will serve more than sixty users of all levels of management. They are in charge of the functioning of the whole range of company processes, from the registration of business cases, their planning and processing on a serious system, through dispatching, logistics and strategic decision-making.

Unique is a completely new solution in the field of weighing system integrated into IS SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS. Original were also solutions of communication interfaces (connection to DMS, synchronization of local weighing and central system), system of planning of cars and techniques for provision of required services with graphic support, mass creation of warehouse documents and invoicing. Of course, different access rights are defined for each level.
KOSIT annually manages more than 130 thousand tons of waste in Košice. That is why it is important that its weighing system runs 24 hours a day, the company is able to plan the transport in advance and to process the documents daily in the management information system (MIS).
