It was at rock bottom when a new shareholder entered. However, thanks to a number of recovery measures, it was gradually able to return to the position that this engineering company deserves on both the domestic and foreign markets. The introduction of the SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS information system also played an important role in the consolidation efforts.
The baseline situation before implementing this comprehensive ERP solution was complicated. SL SLOVAKIA's production took place in two plants that used different information platforms without any real possibilities to unify and consolidate logistics and production processes.
The aim was to introduce a system that would provide a single data base, enabling the modernisation and automation of technological production preparation, planning and management. That is why the company decided for SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS.
The proposed solution also enabled modern management of material flows and other production costs with accurate monitoring of actual costs. Thanks to analytical tools using BI, the management is in control of planned and real costs and the quality of the production process, including service activities. An equally inherent part of SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS is the comprehensive management of all economic activities with the provision of qualified information on the company's operation from an economic perspective in real time.

Of course, the introduction of a new IS was not enough to consolidate the company. Its initial deployment in both production plants, which was based on migration and unification of inconsistent data, led to the centralization of the entire company into one plant in Slovenska Ľupča. Technological processes were reconstructed, inter-cooperation links were eliminated and technological and service times were radically reduced. All these measures were carried out at full operation.
As a result, information flows within SL SLOVAKIA are now unified, which greatly facilitates the management of the company. This has been facilitated by the deployment of the most modern company management tools using the SOFTIP MIS management information system, and of course by the elimination of inefficient administration.
The new information system is fully compatible with external software used in the area of production design preparation. Its quality planning has eliminated downtime, which has contributed to better utilization of production resources and thus to the creation of capacities for further development of production in terms of quality and quantity.
