Summary of the project

Individualisation of software according to customer needs is an essential part of modern IT tools.

This is also true for branded systems, as demonstrated by the „Forward“ solution developed on the basis of SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS. It was developed based on the requirements of SLOVWOOD Ružomberok, which needed to automate all supply and sales processes related to biomass trading.

Challenges and requirements

In the past, the largest trading company in the Slovak timber and biomass market faced the problem of high time consumption in manual and semi-automatic processing of data on deliveries, customer bonuses or complicated reporting.

 

SOFTIP designed and implemented a special solution that eliminated these shortcomings through full integration with the primary SAP system used for financial processing of timber purchase and sales. The new solution meets all the requirements of end to end processes from a business, legislative, accounting and functional point of view.

Results and benefits

The basis of the whole system is the module of customer contracts and customer orders. In addition to the registration of customer requirements, it also enables an efficient and simple two-level, limit approval method for the above documents.

 

Its counterpart is the supplier contracts and orders module, the main benefit of which is the possibility of very efficient creation of supplier orders for individual services according to the type of delivery conditions. An important part of the „Forward“ solution is the delivery planning module, which allows flexible and fast delivery planning for individual approved business cases.

The main benefits of the delivered solution include, above all, the integration of all supplier and sales processes into a single information system, which allows individual users to work online over a consistent data base.

This is the basis for efficient and flexible management of the business process as a whole.
