The deployment of a comprehensive solution based on SAP Business One has brought the company, in addition to significant improvement in the quality of work with data, also interesting savings in time and money
The basic requirement of Amberg Engineering Slovakia, with which it turned to SOFTIP, was the deployment of one integrated system to replace all previously used solutions. Including Microsoft Excel, which still replaces the classic information system in many companies.
The novelty was to cover the requirements in the areas of project management, project work registration, management and tracking of new business opportunities, electronic approval of documents and registration of purchasing and sales processes. In addition, everything was to be comprehensively covered by accounting with specific ways of dissolving costs and revenues. Almost all of Amberg Engineering's requirements were covered by SAP Business One.
The most important part was the project management part, which the customer immediately identified with and saw the consistency of their workflows with the procedures within SAP Business One. We only had to finish the development of a web application for recording and approving the performance of employees on individual tasks within projects, explains Miroslav Michálek, who works at SOFTIP as a product manager for SAP Business One.

Employees shall keep a record of hours worked which shall be compared with the balance and time pool previously recorded. Records are recorded per project, level, cost centre and specific activity. The records entered are approved by the individual project managers, then automatically entered to the project, stage and task within SAP Business One as consumed capacity. The result is an instant overview of planned and actual capacities on a project.
The circulation of documents and their approval is in electronic form, of course, complete coverage of all accounting operations, whether it is legislative statements, asset registration or communication with banks.
