The company was using disparate IS, which caused inconsistency of data and duplication of work. In order to eliminate this situation, SOFTIP deployed a customized solution based on SAP Business One. The result is a unified data base and a solution for all phases of the business case from the business opportunity, through production and logistics to service.
Each project is a combination of delivery of standard functionalities and customer specifics. And it is these that place the greatest demands on the supplier. In the case of the newly established company DQI, which was created by spinning off from DATALAN, it was that its processes were created during the implementation of the information system itself. Thus, in the first phase, we deployed the basic IS functionality with a minimum of modifications.
Only after the first year of use, based on user experience, the implemented solution was optimized in terms of process and ergonomics.
We designed a web application for the unique management of material and product codes, which provided a link between SAP Business One and Windchill. The tailor-made solution also included electronic signatures for dispensing from the warehouse, records of employees' work on projects, and check-out terminals for checking out operations and tracking the progress of production of every single probe, marked with a unique QR code. Every product sold is now automatically transferred to the service management. Specific printouts in different languages have been created.

In short, the project at DQI verified SOFTIP's ability to prepare a truly tailor-made solution for the customer, using the standard functionality of the system with a minimum of programming modifications.
