The main mission of DPD SK (Direct Parcel Distribution, SK) is to deliver parcels with a number of unique added services - unlike most companies, the operation of a courier company is directly dependent on up-to-date data in the financial system. Therefore, they were looking for a flawlessly functioning system.
They chose the solution based on SAP Business One because of its complexity, but also because of its fast deployment and the price for the delivered solution. The implemented modules of economics and logistics were extended with functionality taking into account the specifics of courier services.

Therefore, reports were prepared that directly generate the required outputs. The data for these reports are collected from several source bases.
The introduction of reporting has reduced the reporting time and saved a lot of human work to prepare the outputs for the parent company.
