On the basis of previous successful cooperation, ELBA decided to implement the technical information system SOFTIP MONACO in order to make the work with technical data more transparent and comfortable - from the preparation of the offer for the client to the production process.
SOFTIP MONACO is a specialized software tool for recording, archiving and creating technical documentation in manufacturing companies. This is exactly the type of information system that is used in companies such as ELBA. Since 2005, the company has successfully used its predecessor SYSKLASS, so switching to MONACO was a logical choice.
However, it was not only positive historical experience that played in his favour. In fact, it has several original functions that contribute to cost reduction, shorter response time to customer inquiries, easier pricing, or enable the creation of so-called technical documentation concepts with direct use of tools for rapid pricing of future products.
In the case of cooperation with ELBA, the ability of the system to automatically transfer data from CAD to MONACA and subsequently to the ERP system, the introduction of workflow - the organization of work, as well as the management of documents.
The solution has found its application across several departments of the Kremnica company. Within sales, automation has accelerated processes from query creation, costing and simulation to the preparation of technical documents for production.

In product design, for example, it provided automated import of items, drawings and BOMs from Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD Software. It also has the functionality needed to attach external documents - such as images, process instructions and the like, to process operations.
The tool room uses the creation of technical preparation of production and maintenance of both jigs and tools through its own types of changes. SOFTIP MONACO has also found its application in the purchasing department.
