In day-to-day operations, it is essential to ensure the reliable storage of medications and medical supplies under precisely defined temperature conditions.
The goal of the project was to implement a centralized temperature monitoring system for pharmaceutical refrigerators that would ensure continuous oversight of their operation, provide immediate alerts when set limits are exceeded, and create a unified platform for managing IoT devices. The solution also allows for further expansion and integration with third-party information systems.
In a healthcare setting, adherence to prescribed storage conditions for medications is a critical factor in maintaining their quality and safety. SÚSCCH needed to ensure continuous temperature monitoring in selected refrigerators and to have reliable data on their operation.
The requirement was to automatically collect measured values, transmit them to a central server, and then process them in a clear and organized format. The solution was also to include the ability to generate reports for a selected period, automatically send summaries via email, and immediately notify the responsible staff when set temperature limits are exceeded.
The project included the installation of a communication server, configuration of the system environment, and deployment SOFTIP IoT Platforms and commissioning of the connected devices, including an initial verification of their functionality.
The deployed solution ensures continuous temperature monitoring in refrigerators and provides an immediate overview of their status. In the event of a system failure, exceeding set thresholds, or other operational incidents, the system automatically generates alerts, thereby helping to minimize the risk of stored medications becoming spoiled.
Continuous online temperature monitoring in refrigerators
Automatic alerts when set limits are exceeded
Centralized device management via a unified IoT platform
Automated reporting and archiving of measured data
Ability to integrate with other systems
Support for Efficient Operations and Energy Management
SÚSCCH has acquired a unified IoT platform for managing monitoring devices, which enables centralized control, online operational monitoring, and easy expansion to include additional devices or integrations. Other significant benefits include automated reporting, rapid fault identification, and support for effective energy management.

SOFTIP IoT Platform
„In healthcare, even the smallest details often determine the quality of care provided. Thanks to the IoT platform, the customer has a continuous overview of the status of the equipment and can respond immediately to any deviation. The solution provides greater safety and reliability while simplifying day-to-day operations.“
