What you will be working on

We are looking for an experienced professional to take on the strategic management of our company’s information and cybersecurity. As CISO, you will serve as a partner to company leadership, internal teams, customers, and regulatory authorities, and you will have a significant impact on building the organization’s security culture, risk management, and cyber resilience.

What will be your job

  • develop and implement an information and cybersecurity strategy, including security policies, objectives, and risk management,
  • oversee and develop an ISMS in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001,
  • ensure the company's compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements (ZoKB, NIS2, DORA, CRA, GDPR, and others),
  • manage the areas of security risks, incidents, crisis management, and cyber resilience,
  • oversee the security aspects of collaboration with suppliers, outsourcing, and cloud services,
  • to raise safety awareness and promote the development of a safety culture throughout society,
  • prepare supporting documents and reports for company management and key decision-making bodies,

You won’t just be overseeing compliance with security policies. You’ll be creating the framework that governs information and cybersecurity in our company. We’re looking for someone who views security not as a set of documents, but as a functional system that protects the company, its customers, and its ability to operate even in the face of unexpected events.

What we expect from you

• At least 5 years of experience in the field of information or cybersecurity,
• At least 3 years of experience in security, risk, or compliance management,
• Meet the knowledge standards for performing the role of KB Manager in accordance with National Security Authority Decree No. 492/2022 Z.Z.
• practical knowledge of ISMS (ISO/IEC 27001),
• Familiarity with the requirements of ZoKB, NIS2, DORA, CRA, and the GDPR, as well as the AI Act.
• Experience in managing security risks, incidents, and business continuity,
• the ability to link strategic thinking with practical implementation,
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

THE FOLLOWING WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE:
• ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CISM, CCISO, or equivalent certification,
• KB manager certification,
• experience with ISO 22301, ISO/IEC 27701, or ISO/IEC 42001,
• Experience with AI governance or privacy governance.

 

ABOUT WORKING FROM HOME:
You can work at one of our nine SOFTIP locations (BB, DT, ZA, NR, BA, KE, PE, RK, TN) in combination with working from home (up to 40/60) or work entirely from home. In both cases, however, it’s important that you’re able to come to the office in Banská Bystrica—initially about 2–3 days a week, and later as needed.
