On 25 May 2018, the new European Data Protection Regulation came into force. The obligation to take appropriate security measures to protect personal data and to be able to demonstrate compliance of processing activities with this Regulation applies to any controller processing personal data.
Personal data processed in the SOFTIP HR PLUS information system may only be processed in accordance with a legal obligation.
SOFTIP HR PLUS already provides technical elements for the purpose of secure processing of personal data in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR.

Personal data protection rules within the organisation need to be addressed comprehensively, by introducing personal data processing procedures in the operator's internal security documentation, modifying the necessary internal directives and using internal infrastructure settings. It is the responsibility of the controller to comply with the requirements of the GDPR.
By storing and processing personal data in the SOFTIP HR PLUS information system and by implementing appropriate technical and organisational measures, the controller can demonstrate compliance with the processing of personal data within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (abbreviation GDPR).
