Consent to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes

SOFTIP, a. s. with registered office at Krasovského 14, 851 01 Bratislava - Petržalka, Slovak Republic, ID No. 36785512, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court of Bratislava III, Section Sa, Insert No. 4151/B (hereinafter referred to as the „Company“) as the controller processes personal data for direct marketing purposes only on the basis of this consent granted by you, in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter referred to as the „Act“).

1. Purpose of processing and scope of consent
I consent to the processing of my personal data for marketing purposes, in particular for the purpose of:

  • Newsletter,
  • Informing about news and updates from the SOFTIP product portfolio,
  • Information about events (conferences, seminars, workshops, webinars),
  • Conducting satisfaction surveys, and other relevant marketing activities.

2. Categories of personal data
The following categories of personal data are processed for marketing purposes:

  • Identification data (First name, Last name, Company name),
  • Contact details (email address, phone number),
  • Behavioural data (clicks on links, email opens).

3. Period of validity of consent and possibilities of revocation
I grant consent for a period of 5 years from the date of consent or until the date of withdrawal of consent granted by the data subject, whichever is earlier.

You may withdraw your consent at any time and without giving any reason. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of personal data based on consent prior to its withdrawal.

Withdrawal of consent can be made:

  • Click on the unsubscribe link that is in every marketing email (the easiest way).
  • By sending a written objection/appeal by email to dpo@softip.sk.

4. Your rights
As a data subject, you have the following rights in relation to the processing of your personal data: the right of access to personal data, the right to rectification, the right to erasure („right to be forgotten“), the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
