Even a hundred years later, donating this most precious liquid helps save lives. That is why SOFTIP has organised the Drop of Blood event for the eighth time. Not only its employees, but also several voluntary donors from the plants and companies in the Banská Bystrica Europa SC took part in the event.
Throughout the history of the Blood Drop, more than 300 donors have participated. „Our thanks go to everyone, of course. But we would like to double our appreciation to those who took this step for the first time in their lives. And we are convinced that it will not be the last time,“ said Martin Vlčko, member of the Board of Directors and CFO of SOFTIP.
Out of this year's 37 participants (of which there were five first prize winners), one of them, besides a good feeling, also won a weekend stay for two people from Hotel Patria.
SOFTIP BLOOD CAP will also not do without the necessary refreshments, very important drinking regime, or the assistance and equipment of the National Transfusion Service of the Slovak Republic. „We are very grateful that many of our partners have attended all previous editions with us and have stood by us from the beginning, which we appreciate and thank them immensely. Without their support and help, the organisation of SOFTIP BLOOD CAPS would have been much more challenging,“ she said. Silvia Hajdáková from the marketing department of SOFTIP.
