The SOFTIP Personality of the Year 2019 is Rudolf Dobrotka.The database specialist, who has been a firm mainstay of SOFTIP since its inception, received 33.33 % of all votes. He thus turned his first nomination into a clear victory by a significant margin and replaced last year's winner Tatiana Janovcova at the top, who shared second place with Ferdinand Exner with the same number of votes (16.66 %).
Rudo has been a part of SOFTIP since 1992, when he joined as a programmer of the Prometeus/X information system. Today, as a database specialist of the SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS information system, he is involved in SQL programming, data modelling, data model maintenance and training not only in connection with this product, but also with other projects such as SOFTIP HAPPY HR or Keepi.

SOFTIP's projects for 2019 were New methods of production management.This large-scale project involving the interconnection of the SOFTIP MONACO and SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS information systems was a clear winner, winning a supermajority of all votes cast (58.33 %).
Its main objective was to develop an interface between the SOFTIP MONACO products for technical preparation of production and SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS - PRODUCTION, with the requirement to synchronize selected dials and partners, sharing of various data between both products and transfer of technological bills of materials and technological procedures from the IS SOFTIP MONACO to the IS SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS.
„With this project, the Manufacturing Competence Centre has considerably expanded its qualifications in the area of implementing more complex solutions for the technical preparation of production. The interconnection of the SOFTIP PROFIT PLUS and SOFTIP MONACO information systems represents a key step towards gaining greater respect and strengthening our position in the market for solutions for manufacturing companies.“ said the project manager and head of the SOFTIP VÝROBA competence centre, Ferdinand Exner.
