1. Describe your journey that led you to the clouds
This is a top secret subject on which I cannot comment publicly. Well, then later (and actually long before that), a certain visionary from our team, in the „onpremise“ era, decided that we would start working on cladding, even though at the time no one knew what it was and no customer believed it or wanted it.
2. How did your career at SOFTIP start and where are you today?
It was like this: I graduated from the Faculty of Management and Computer Science, and immediately afterwards I joined the army. After a year I came back from the war, about Wednesday. On Saturday I had a wedding and on Monday I started at SOFTIP as my first job. And I'm still here to this day. But that was back in the last millennium, so that doesn't count anymore, that's history.
3. Why does this work make sense to you and what do you like best about it?
The best part is that even though I'm still doing the same thing, it's still something new. I know it doesn't make much sense, but it really does. It's still Microsoft technology, it used to be Windows server and e.g. TMG firewall. And it's gradually changed to newer and newer technologies, completely different than the ones before. Server in the Azure cluster, mailbox in the Office 365 cluster, device management in the Intune cluster, and much more. It's incredible how the IT world has changed over the years.
4. Why do you like working for us?
I can't imagine that such a great bunch of guys (and girls too!) exist anywhere else in the galaxy. Apparently there is, but the probability of existence is borderline zero. It's mind-blowing how great the cooperation, mutual aid and learning works. The willingness to help almost always works, even when everyone is busy. And the friendship works for us outside of work too, whether it's regular chats, rafting trips, house/apartment remodeling jobs, or just a beer after work, or even a punch before Christmas.
