1. Describe your journey that led you to the clouds
I worked in the IT segment for another company. I was aware of the cloud world, but I was never close to it, it was never my „destination“. But as it happens, life arranged it a bit differently 🙂 I first got to know the „Microsoft cloud world“ in depth only when I joined SOFTIP. I went through an initial adaptation process, which allowed me to look into the different parts of such a huge „Cloud“ and choose my path. The one that I still follow today.
2. How did your career at SOFTIP start and where are you today?
I started as a pure junior. We used to call it „greenfield“. The beginnings were difficult for me and it took me a lot of effort and energy to properly „feel“ the huge volume of information. What I was beginning to learn really grabbed me by the heart. From one project to the next I gained new knowledge and experience. Gradually, I worked my way up from the simpler stuff and chose a specialty, an area that was closest to my heart. It was and still is „Security“. I found myself in it and started to work on projects and implementations focused specifically on deploying Microsoft Security components. In a very short period of time, I was given the opportunity to lead my own team of amazing people and lead large projects and implementations. Today at SOFTIP I work as a Solution engineer and leader of our Security Designation.
3. Why does this work make sense to you and what do you like best about it?
What I adore about this work is its otherness. The way every single project can be different. You need to keep learning and that naturally moves you forward. You never „stay“ in one place here. Through my work, I have been exposed to such interesting projects and opportunities that I wouldn't otherwise have had the opportunity to see and be a part of. „Our guys“, the management, have an amazing gift, to motivate you, to give you the right direction and thus to move you forward. This job gives me so much both professionally and humanly because I get to learn, work and have fun at the same time with an exceptionally unique group of amazing people 🙂
4. Why do you like working for us?
By joining SOFTIP I not only gained a lot of experience, knowledge and specialization in a specific area, but mainly a second „family“. They immediately took me in, put their trust in me, gave me a lot of time, energy and support and I joined an amazing team. I already know that I have made friends for life. I just enjoy coming to work because it is so varied, very creative, diverse with tangible results and the opportunity to leave my signature somewhere. The „guys“ have given me ample opportunity to develop my talents and potential, for which I owe them a big thank you. I have the opportunity to pursue what I really enjoy in the cloud world, and that's one of the reasons I have such an amazing time working at SOFTIP. SOFTIP really gives opportunities to graduates and „people with unsigned paper“.
