1. Describe your journey that led you to the clouds
My journey to the clouds was not the first one. During college I had the opportunity to work in an IT company and that helped me decide what direction I wanted to take. The path was clear, and that was the front end. As there weren't many offers for Angular at that time, I remembered the Banská Bystrica company SOFTIP. I was intrigued by the junior job offer and shortly after sending the application, the interview followed. I learned that they were looking for a programmer for a low-code platform. Having no idea what the language was, I agreed. In short, I told myself „I have nothing to lose, only to gain“. I was introduced to the low-code Power Platform and fell in love with my job. Sometimes the most beautiful things come by themselves, you just have to go against your luck.
2. How did your career at SOFTIP start and where are you today?
To begin with, I mentioned that I came to a purely men's group, or as the poet would say, „I was a rose among thorns“. In this case, I do not identify with the term thorn. Because thanks to a group of ninjas I was able to develop myself professionally and personally. From the very beginning, I was given the opportunity to create new applications, to participate in start-up projects and this helped me to perceive the customer's requirements. Collaboration, friendship and sincerity are the factors I found in SOFTIP. I will leave it to my superiors to evaluate where I have moved in my career. Personally, I follow one motto „There is always room for improvement“. After all, life is a journey and not a destination. It is no different in this case.
3. Why does this work make sense to you and what do you like best about it?
Everyday variety is a guarantee of improving personal and professional knowledge. During my work I have the opportunity to learn new knowledge outside the IT world and I see this as an exceptional benefit to develop my insight. Quite simply, every single day is special and that's what I enjoy the most.
4. Why do you like working for us?
We all have our values, why we see our work as a joy. In the CES team I have found the most important one and that is humanity. From solving difficult problems to cheerful sports or social activities. I always know I can turn to Ninjas. We are a team.
