Protecting the environment, improving the quality of education and improving the quality of health and life. These are the main areas we have been working on for a long time at SOFTIP and we want to actively participate in making a positive change together with our employees.
We have had an Environmental Management System (ISO 14 001) in place within IMS for several years. And although our negative impact on the environment is minimal, we evaluate it annually and take measures to reduce it.
We strive to reduce the waste we produce and separate what we do produce honestly at all sites. To motivate our colleagues more, we have removed the bins from under their desks.
When selecting promotional items, we take into account their carbon footprint and prefer local manufacturers. We try not to create waste and choose practical gifts that will serve the recipient well for a long time.
By taking a conscious approach to printing, we reduce toner and paper consumption. And when we do have to print something, for example because the law says we have to, we use eco-friendly paper, i.e. paper that is ecolabelled.
Internally, we use our own applications - such as SOFTIP HAPPY HR, which enables paperless approval of leave or training activities, and thus contributes to reducing our paper agenda.
In our relationship with our customers, we strive to promote electronic invoicing, which undoubtedly has a positive impact on the efficient use of natural resources. This is why we have implemented it in our information systems and customer solutions.
We use conference calls and remote document sharing to communicate with each other. When selecting company vehicles, we take the environmental aspect into account in an important way.
We support the national campaign Bike to Work. We have created conditions for employees to commute to work by bike every day, including parking spaces in the underground garage and the opportunity to take a shower.
Our headquarters in Einsteinova Business Center in Bratislava has been awarded the prestigious BREEAM green certificate at the Excellent level, which is the second highest possible rating. It rightly deserves the Green Building designation.

We organize the SOFTIP BLOOD CAP in Banská Bystrica, which attracts dozens of volunteers every year at the turn of October and November. Positive motivation for all those who are still thinking about donating is one of the main goals of this event.
SOFTIP is one of the biggest supporters of the Down Syndrome Society in Slovakia and we are very happy that our employees have taken it under their wing. We have been supporting the Light of Hope for a long time. We provide social assistance to those who need it.
For several years SOFTIP has been the title partner of the Three Kings Evening Run through the streets of Banská Bystrica. We support several amateur sports clubs and organize sporting events, including the spring cycling SOFTIP CYKLO TOUR.
We have a long-standing cooperation with schools. We share know-how through lectures by our employees on campus and free admission to our professional events. We also help with the technical equipment of professional classrooms or the furnishing of relaxation areas.
