„The upgraded EVO system is 6 months old and the number of contracts awarded is growing steadily. In that period 783 contracts and 217 electronic auctions have been launched. The financial volume of newly announced contracts via EVO amounts to more than EUR 1.5 billion and together with the converted contracts (i.e. contracts announced before 18.10.2018 and converted to EVO) it amounts to approximately EUR 4.5 billion.“
The creation of the EACI system has fundamentally changed the process of public procurement on the part of contracting authorities/entities, tenderers as well as users using the system as a controlling body. Compared to the paper-based form of processing the public procurement process, it has enabled a reduction in the time required for the submission and processing of documents related to the individual steps of the public procurement process. This has a considerable impact on the economic savings in the processing of public procurement as well as the elimination of negative impacts on the environment. An important factor of the new solution is the traceability and undeniability of the individual actions of all participants in the public procurement process.

According to the Authority's statistics, the number of users has increased substantially in the three months since the launch of the upgraded EVO. While the „old“ EVO was used by 8.86 % users, after its modernisation (18.10.2018) the electronic system of the Office is used by 48.71 % users. I consider this as proof that the intensive work of our team, but especially the use of public money has been effective. I am glad that the project benefits both citizens themselves and state institutions.
