Ružena Kollárová, a graduate economist and experienced analyst, became the SOFTIP Personality of the Year 2022. She has been associated with SOFTIP for more than 30 years and for many she was the clear candidate to win this title.
She started at SOFTIP as a consultant and trainer of the Prometeus information system. Later she held the positions of analyst, methodologist and specialist analyst. As an analyst, she was also present at key moments that had a significant impact on our information systems - such as Slovakia's accession to the EU Economic Union and the related new VAT processing system as of 1 May 2004, or the accession to the Financial Union and the introduction of the euro as of 1 January 2009. She herself says of her work: „The opportunity to always learn something new is one of the reasons why I have been at SOFTIP for so many years.“
„She always had patience with our beginner mistakes and amazed us with her expertise. Her knowledge of the practice is incredibly extensive, she will be hard to replace when she retires for a well-deserved rest. She was and still is a pro in her field,“ say her closest colleagues about the newly elected SOFTIP personality. „She doesn't hesitate to pass on all those years of experience to her younger colleagues, and she does it with such collegiality and attitude, it's as if the generation gap between us doesn't even exist.“

The award for the Best Project of 2022 went to System of expert support for the performance of control activities (SEP). The aim of the project for the Financial Administration of the Slovak Republic was to create effective support for tax inspectors through an intelligent data base. This is to provide effective and relevant evidence for the actual performance of the audit and at the same time to provide guidance to the controller during the audit itself.
