SOFTIP for Light of Hope

SOFTIP helps small patients at the Children's University Hospital with Polyclinic in Banská Bystrica. Instead of buying traditional Christmas cards, the company donated 3 000 euros to the civic association Svetielko hope. The symbolic cheque was handed over by Martin Vlčko, a member of the Board of Directors and CFO of SOFTIP, to Ingrid Škropeková, a representative of the Light of Hope, on Friday 11 December 2020.

„This year has not been easy for any of us, but it has probably affected the most vulnerable the most. That's why we decided to end it a little differently. Instead of buying traditional Christmas cards, we supported the civic association Light of Hope. We greatly appreciate everything they do for the young patients and their families, for whom they are, to the word and to the letter, a beacon of hope. The hope that we all need the most in difficult moments in our lives,“ said Martin Vlčko, member of the Board of Directors and CFO of SOFTIP.

„We are extremely grateful to SOFTIP for their help and support even in this challenging time that we are all in. It is very important not to forget about those who cannot help themselves, in addition to their own worries. Families are isolated even in a normal year during treatment, but now, in the COVID-19 period, the isolation is even more acute and severe. Thanks to the financial support to children and families, we are able to bring what they need to the ward and also help the children and families in the care of the Children's Mobile Hospice of the Light of Hope, mainly through the professional care of the professionals present on the ward or in the families of the sick children. We would like to thank all the SOFTIPians and wish them good health and success in the years to come,“ concluded Ingrid Škropeková, fundraiser of the Light of Hope.
