Families are isolated even in a normal year during treatment, but now, in the COVID-19 period, the isolation is even more acute and severe. Thanks to the financial support to children and families, we are able to bring what they need to the ward and also help the children and families in the care of the Children's Mobile Hospice of the Light of Hope, mainly through the professional care of the professionals present on the ward or in the families of the sick children. THE LIGHT OF HOPE for more than 18 years has been helping to improve the lives of oncologically and terminally ill children and their families, for whom it strives to provide the best help and support in coping with a child's serious illness. It operates at the Children's University Hospital with Polyclinic in Banská Bystrica and especially its children's oncology department.
