On Saturday, 21 August, 553 competitors took to the start of the race. They all ran for a good cause as well. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its foundation, the title partner of the event decided to donate 1 euro for each runner to support the civic association Light of hope at the Children's University Hospital with Polyclinic in Banská Bystrica. In addition, SOFTIP rounded up the total amount donated for the little warriors to 1000 €.

The race started after 20 o'clock at the SNP Square, where the runners returned twice during the 5 390 m long course to finish the race. A total of six male and equally six female age categories were competed.
Peter Ďurica (AK Run For Fun), the winner of the race, finished in 16 minutes and 17 seconds ahead of Michal Mojžiš (16:42). Third, more than a minute after the winner, finished Ján Sopko from AK Krupina (17:26).
Among the women, Silvia Valová (18:46) was the fastest racer in the streets of Banská Bystrica in the evening. The second fastest time among women was Radka Roháčová (19:51) and the third was Kristína Resslová (20:04). All the fastest female runners represented the Health in Motion Lučatín club.
