It was officially unveiled in March 2023 and has since undergone various testing and improvements. In the summer, Microsoft made it available to select customers as part of the Early Access program. Starting in November 2023, enterprise customers with a minimum of 300 licenses could start using Copilot for Microsoft 365. And today we have great news for you. Copilot for Microsoft 365 is finally available to all customers regardless of the size of their organisation.
What exactly does that mean?
Microsoft has announced 3 major new features these days that are related to Copilot for Microsoft 365:
Copilot for Microsoft 365 can be ordered through the Microsoft Partner Network with Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), including SOFTIP.
It gives you a smart assistant to guide you through all your work activities - from emails, meetings, conversations, document creation and the web. So whether you want to summarize the news that came in while you were on vacation or you need to quickly navigate through a meeting you didn't join until halfway through, Copilot for Microsoft 365 is designed to support you throughout your day.
Are you starting to get a bit lost in these Copilots?
We are not surprised. Because the next announced news is a new product that Microsoft is launching under the name Copilot Pro. And that's even more Copilots. But let's go in order.
In addition to the two already mentioned, there is also the Copilot, which you may know by its original name Bing Chat. It's basically a chatbot - similar to ChatGPT - that helps you search and create content (write text or draw pictures) based on information available on the internet. It's available for free and even already in a mobile app.
Copilot Pro, which Microsoft has released for individual users for USD 20 per month, in addition to offering Copilot features in Microsoft Office applications.

This is far from the end of the list of Microsoft Copilots. Therefore, if you are interested in this topic, we recommend you to follow the company profile SOFTIP on LinkedIn, where we will discuss it in more detail.
