1. Describe your journey that led you to the clouds
I always knew I wanted to do something I saw a future in. When I first heard about the cloud during school, I thought it was about the weather. But when I realized that you could move entire IT companies to it, I started paying attention. Gradually, I understood that the cloud is not just hype, but the direction in which the entire IT world is headed. So I said to myself, if I'm going to spend my life working, at least let it be in the clouds.
2. How did your career at SOFTIP start and where are you today?
At the beginning of my career, I had more desire to learn than experience. At SOFTIP they gave me a chance and trust, which I tried to fulfill from the beginning. I started as a complete junior, but with the support of the team and management, I gradually worked my way up to more and more responsibility. And I still feel like I'm only at the beginning.
3. Why does this work make sense to you and what do you like best about it?
Our work has real impact and is full of innovation. We are constantly moving forward. There is always something new to discover and something to improve. We are encouraged to develop in topics that we enjoy and are close to our hearts. And what do I like best? That moment when we design something, code it, deploy it - and it works. At least until Friday afternoon. 🙂
4. Why do you like working for us?
I've written enough about work, so now on to what makes every day really enjoyable. We're a good bunch here, we're not just colleagues, we're also friends. We help each other out, we hold each other up and we can even laugh together. I appreciate the human approach of our management, we don't play hierarchies here, we can say things to each other openly and with respect. We share common values, we pull together and you can feel that everyone really cares about what we do.
