Peppol is an international network for the secure electronic exchange of invoices. From 1 January 2027 it is mandatory for all VAT payers in Slovakia.
From 1 January 2027, the e-invoicing obligation applies to all VAT payers based in Slovakia.
The obligation to receive e-invoices also applies to other taxable persons to whom invoices from VAT payers are addressed - for example, sole traders, freelancers or landlords.
